Similar to last year, we will be raising donations online for the 2024 Bat-a-thon. Each player has a profile setup on the website below. Just send your link to family, friends and share on social media to get donations! All funds raised go directly back into the league. In the past few years, we used the funds raised to rebuild the dugout casing at Viewlynn, purchase windscreens and backstop padding for all fields at Kilmer and Viewlynn, new practice mounds and field prep materials, and we were also able to decrease fees in some divisions!
Here’s how it works:
Players get donations between now and June 7, 2024. On June 8th, players will hit off the tee for distance at our annual Bat-a-thon / FUN Day. The longest hit of each age group will win trophies and other prizes. We’ll have lots going on around the park that day, it’ll be a great time for everyone!
In addition, prizes are awarded for fundraising:
~ Individual prizes – 1st place = $250 Time Out Gift Card ; 2nd place = $150 Time Out Gift Card; 3rd Place = $100 End of the Line Gift Card
~ Team prizes – 1st place = Vancouver Canadians party for the team (2 tix per player); 2nd and 3rd place = Concession dinner on us (hot dog, candy bag and slushies) for the team
~ All players who individually raise over $250 also get 2 Vancouver Canadians ticket.
