First and foremost I would like to thank our volunteers. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we simply would not exist if it weren’t for the hundreds of parents that step up to contribute to the LVLL experience on a daily basis. Thank you to our Board of Directors, and our Coaches and Managers for your enthusiasm and passion. The parents that rake and line the fields, score-keep the games, help with warmups and of course, work tirelessly at concession – you are all amazing and appreciated.
Congratulations to our Division Champions:
- SINGLE A: Angels are the Champions; Reds runner-up
- AA: Giants are the Champions; Blue Jays runner-up
- AAA: Angels are the Champions; White Sox runner-up
- MAJORS: Dodgers are the Champions; Giants runner-up
In T-ball and Rookie, we had almost 330 players enjoy a fun season of growth and learning. We look forward to watching these young players continue to find their love for the game, and grow with LVLL.
BAT-A-THON
Through our annual Bat-A-Thon, LVLL players collectively raised almost $17,000. Thank you to all who made an effort to raise funds to support the league. These funds will be used towards upgrades and equipment that will benefit all players in all divisions at LVLL. Please stay tuned for updates on where this year’s funds will be spent.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Thank you for nominating your favourite coaches for Coach of the Year honours. I’m happy to share with you this season’s Coach of the Year recipients. All three of these coaches embody the LVLL spirit and the league is fortunate to have them onboard.
- RALLY CAP / SINGLE A COACH OF THE YEAR: Russ Chamberlain, Single A Nationals
- MINORS COACH OF THE YEAR: Peter Colenutt, AA Astros
- MAJORS COACH OF THE YEAR: Tod Pelly, Majors White Sox
For our Volunteer of the Year honours, we found it hard to pick just one, as the league is lucky to have so many dedicated volunteers! This year we narrowed it down to three ladies that have contributed greatly to the league, mostly behind the scenes.
- Congratulations to this season’s Volunteers of the Year, Stephanie Gelinas, Libby Colenutt and Julie Pelly!
Please join me in congratulating the players and coaches representing LVLL on our two sanctioned teams, the 9/10 All Star team and the Majors All Star team. Both teams will be representing us in the upcoming District 5 Tournaments.

2024 SELECT TEAMS
I’d also like to congratulate our players and coaches on our 7, 8, 9 and 11 Select teams. These teams will be having fun throughout June and July, playing in a number of Select tournaments in the lower mainland.
