BAT-A-THON FUNDRAISING PAGES
Similar to last year, we will be raising donations online for the 2025 Bat-a-thon. Each player has a profile setup on the website below. Just send your link to family, friends and share on social media to get donations! All funds raised go directly back into the league. In the past few years, we used the funds raised to rebuild the dugout casing at Viewlynn, purchase windscreens and backstop padding for all fields at Kilmer and Viewlynn, new practice mounds and field prep materials, and we were also able to decrease fees in some divisions! For 2025, we are hoping to use funds for batting cage improvements, a new scorebooth on the Kilmer AAA diamond, upgrading our field supplies and sheds and new uniforms for Minors and Majors.
Here’s how it works:
Players get donations between now and 6:00AM on June 7th. On that day, players will hit off the tee for distance at our annual Bat-a-thon & FUN Day. The longest hit of each age group will win trophies and other prizes. We’ll have lots going on around the park that day, it’ll be a great time for everyone!
In addition, prizes are awarded for fundraising:
~ Individual prizes – 1st place = $250 Time Out Gift Card ; 2nd place = $150 Time Out Gift Card; 3rd Place = $100 End of the Line Gift Card
~ Team prizes – 1st place = Vancouver Canadians party for the team (2 tix per player); 2nd and 3rd place = Concession dinner on us (hot dog, candy bag and slushies) for the team
~ All players who individually raise over $250 also get 2 Vancouver Canadians tickets
We encourage teams and families to challenge each other! Each player is listed on our website, please search for your player and ensure any donations go to them. You can forward the link specific to your player as well. Note that fundraising closes at 6:00 AM on June 7th for determining the team and individual fundraising winners.
On Saturday, June 7th, all players from T-Ball through to Majors will hit off the tee for distance. The longest hit in each division will win trophies and other prizes. Candy bags will be given to any player whose ball lands inside a hoola hoop! Your team’s bat-a-thon time has been entered into your schedule on Teamsnap. Please be on time for your time as teams are scheduled just 5 minutes apart.FUN DAY also takes place on June 7th. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Kilmer will be filled with all sorts of attractions for the whole family, as a treat to our LVLL community. Come on by for games, tattoos, balloon twisters, inflatables, a dunk tank and more! Stay on to cheer on the teams in the AA and AAA Playoffs scheduled for 3:00PM.
NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR COACH OF THE YEAR & VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Please take a few minutes to nominate and help celebrate all of the AMAZING volunteers that make Lynn Valley Little League so great! We are now accepting nominations for Coach of the Year and Volunteer of the Year, for the 2025 season.
Nominations for 2025 Coach of the year
The scores of men and women who give their time, energy and heart to guide our children on the field all deserve the coach of the year award. Each year we ask you, the members of LVLL, to nominate individuals who best represent the qualities of all our great coaches. Has your player’s coach made a significant positive impact on his or her life and love for baseball? How and why? We want to hear from you!
Nominations for the LVLL 2025 Volunteer of the year.
As we know, our league functions solely by the work of all our volunteers. It is because we volunteer that our children have this great opportunity to play baseball. We are fortunate to have so many volunteers that dedicate their time, energy and hearts to bettering our league. Please let us know who you feel has gone above and beyond!
